Dr. Pavani Manikya Palepu, having obtained her MBBS degree from Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam, she went on to do MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the prestigious PGIMER Chandigarh. 

In her tenure as Senior Resident at JIPMER Puducherry, she has honed her skills to become an experienced surgeon and clinician. Her areas of expertise include high risk pregnancy, including medical and surgical disorders complicating pregnancy. 

She has over 2000 cesarean sections to her name, in addition to proficiency in high risk deliveries as well as several minor operative procedures. She has also been awarded certificates in Basic Laparoscopy, in workshops conducted by JIPMER as well as Ethicon. She is certified in basic ultrasound by FOGSI. 

She professes a keen interest in fetal medicine, with a view to pursuing it in her future career. She is known among her colleagues, seniors and juniors alike for her intuitive approach to, and grasp on her subject, dedication to patient care and well-being, and meticulous attention to detail.
